The Space Center in Houston is a world-famous science center, perfect for those who love all things related to space and space travel. The Discovery Green park, bordered by La Branch Street, McKinney Street, Avenida de las Americas, and Lamar Street offers over 11 acres of lush lawns to enjoy. If you want to take out the boat or kayak, visit Lake Houston! The lake is situated about 15 miles northeast of downtown Houston and offers lots of opportunities for boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and more.
